Please don't mourn steves death, i ask you to celebrate his life, the animals he saved, and the lovely Bindi, Bob & Terri our never ending support goes out to those guys without reserve.
They are mourning enough and have more pain to handle than i can ever imagine so i ask you, do this one thing, help out in worthy causes, even if all you are able to do is give a few quid to animal rescue charities or stop someone killing a spider just cos they are a bit scared of it!Steve was a part of something great, we can't let his work be forgotten guys!!Thanks for your support on here, i appreciate it more than i can put in words!!!Rev Danyael Black (FCoTF)..

Stephen Robert "Steve" Irwin (born February 22, 1962 in Essendon, Victoria, Australia, died September 4, 2006) was the owner and manager of Australia Zoo at Beerwah, Queensland, Australia. He was best known as The Crocodile Hunter, which was the name of the unconventional nature documentary series on television he, assisted by his American-born wife, Terri Irwin, presented.

Steve Irwin was tragically killed on 04/09/06 while filming a documentary on Dangerous marine life.
The Aussie wildlife expert was diving while taking a break from filming when the accident occured.
It is believed that Steve simply swam too close to a stingray which reacted as if threatened, the ray (which is usually a placid creature unless it feels endangered) lashed at the beloved star and sadly the injuries suffered were too great and his life was brought to a dramatic and untimely end.
Many were shocked by his antics when he was alive and even his detractors have been noted as 'saddened by this tragic end to one of the greatest men who ever lived, he will be sorely missed'.
Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe, who was a friend of Irwin's, said Monday that the 44-year-old television star was the Australian that many people aspired to be.
A Family man with 2 children - he leaves behind Daughter Bindi age 8, little Bob age 2, and wife Terri who ran the world famous AUSTRALIA ZOO with Steve.
We can only imagine how this loss has affected the family and our hopes for a bright future go out to them with all the love and respect which Steve earned throughout the world going back to them with the simple words - crikey mate, we're gonna miss ya.
