I'm beautiful, loved and blessed. But sometimes I all too easily forget... and that's when I get so shy... He never tires of lifting me up, reminding me that, at least to Him, I am very special... And He's given me the gift of a sister who is the best! I love being with her and her family! Ain't nothin' gonna tear us apart, ever... And good friends, hey Noreen and Bob! And a special gift from Mary ~ Joanie, you know I'm thinking of you... You and Charlie mean so very much to me. Jesus has woven a special bond between my heart and theirs ~ and love truly does live forever.
I'm a dealer at one of the older, and pretty cool, casinos in Vegas. Prince has hung out there in the past and I wish he'd come back for a visit... Many of the old "Greats" came to this casino to play and "The King" really loved us... Oh! Would that the "Prince" would love us too...
I'm in and out of school for art ~ and as much as I feel as if I've accomplished something when I draw it by hand ~ the medium I still prefer, is work done on my computer. I'm so digging the multimedia experience, the blending of sights and sounds, in Director and Flash and I'm headed back to school for what's looking like the Summer Semester to learn a lot more than the little I know now... I care about what's happening around us ~ I support Beth Holloway in her fight for Aruba to do the right thing ~ and I'm most joyfully breaking a new Vegas law whenever I can ~ for you see, Oscar Goodman, our Mayor, has recently made it illegal to feed the homeless... and I just can't abide by that law.
I love to drive ~ I used to autocross and race with the SCCA ~ driving is still a joy, though my new ride is more stylin’ than tight ~ keeps me outa trouble with the police...
Music is in my soul ~ And I love to dance... Grew up listening to the smooth sounds of the big bands with my dad, jazz, R&B, Motown... Prince is a culmination of these old time greats, and so much more...
Oh ~ and I'm Catholic. Jesus means the world to me. My only real goal in life is to make Him happy... And I'm thankful He gave us His Mother and the Angels to help, guide, and befriend us as we walk through this life.
P.S. I'm not an Aries ~ I refuse to be limited by the constraints of a zodiac sign ~ I was born under the Sign of the Cross, for real, I was born on Good Friday ~ and I live my life in His freedom.
