Caro is a freelance singer in different groups and styles.
Right now Caro has released her first single "Further on the way" together with "El Club Vigil". The whole album will be released in late August 2008. Together with “El Club Vigilâ€, she is composing songs that blend all her favourite styles of the Latin-American music tradition. (www.myspace.com/caroelclubvigil)
Caro parents are from Uruguay but she was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Caro has travelled to Uruguay almost every year of her life, sometimes for longer periods of time and she has also been all over the South American continent. In Cuba she stayed for a year and studied music. The South American continent is her greatest inspiration and the love for all the different music traditions has made her a singer of cuban son, salsa, tango, bolero, afro-cuban Yoruba music, afro-peruvian music and argentinian zamba.
