About Me

With a history of over 1,500 years Shaolin encompasses every style. Students learn skills that will enhance their memory, increase flexibility, athleticism, coordination, and build strength and endurance. Shaolin martial arts is a complete system that teaches all forms of self-defense including stand up at the long, mid and close ranges, ground techniques, pressure points, joint locks, muscle/tendon separation, empty hand, classical weapons, modern weapons and more.Our students are from all walks of life, each pursuing different goals. Adults, teenagers, senior citizens, children, women and men all train at Shaolin Kung Fu. Some train solely for self-defense, others for fitness, weight loss, self-discipline, medical reasons or just for the appreciation of the beauty of culture and art. Students at Shaolin Kung Fu focus on more than just the physical characteristics of one’s growth. Lessons also place emphasis on morals and values to create a better balanced individual. The Shaolin Kung Fu school prides itself on creating a peaceful learning environment where everyone feels welcome. We train hard together and give each other the respect they deserve; treating everyone here as family.
