I grew up surrounded by music, because my parents played music at church almost every Sunday, though that was not necessarily what got me started, it had a large impact on my musical career. But I did not get a guitar in my hands until around age ten or twelve, but things didn't really pick up until I began high school. That would be when I found my parents old record player, I went searching for records at the secondhand store and found some James Taylor records, and my mom bought me a live Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young record that was very inspirational in my song writing "career". Soon the guitar and song writing became a place for me to sort of escape, or process my thoughts in a totally free environment where I could say what I wanted, and attempt to create something that expressed my thoughts and views on things, or just remind myself of times I want to keep. And I will continue to write and do that until my hands are to tired to push those strings down.
