Backseat Bandit formed in the summer of 2004 playing punk rock. It started with Dan Buchanan(Bass/Vox), Jon Weber(Guitar), and Ryan Boyko(Drums). As time progressed, so did the band... With various lineup changes, Backseat's music began to suffer. Finally in winter of '05, Dan left the group to work on a solo project. At which time Nate Johnson took over as bassist. But soon the drive to get to practice was too much for Jon and Nate. Backseat Bandit was no more...
Then in Sept. '06, Jon, Boyko, and Dan, decided to try things out again. Only this time Dan played rythm guitar. Within the next week or two, Brandon Houseman was asked to join the band as a bassist, and Jon decided to permanently leave the band. After Jon left, the band decided to change musical direction.
In August of 2007, Backseat Bandit added another guitarist by the name of Dan Hart. Sadly, Boyko and Dan Hart decided to leave the band for various reasons after we recorded our professional CD. After a month or so Scott Lloyd joined the band as the new drummer.We have our finished CD. We have already put a couple of the songs on here. We hope you like them.
