The beauty of life……you never know what’s coming around the corner! Always changing. Always challenging. The difference between pleasure and pain is our perception of it. Whatever “it†might be.
I have always believed that I can help make the world a better place through creating beautiful things that inspire others in their lives. It is a blessing and a curse for me. Sort of idealistic, but it keeps life meaningful, and fun. And, like everything in life, it sometimes is a huge pain in the ass!
My life has been driven by forces (and events) that are larger than my life alone; we are all products of our lives’ experiences, whether good or bad. Everything happens for a reason, we just may not see it at the time.
15 years ago, when I started designing, I was fortunate to be able to inspire a handful of very influential figures in the fashion industry through my “art-jewelryâ€. I was fortunate to have been able to "speak my voice" through fashion shows and fashion magazines. These days, I design and produce jewelry for major department stores, which presents it's own set of issues in regards to design and creativity.
The world has become so generic, mass-produced, and “safeâ€.
Now, artists and designers, the challenge has become larger…..
our “creative voice†has to become LOUDER than ever. it's up to the creative community to be true to what we believe in.
