About Me

I'm 26 years old and I live in Anchorage, AK. I moved up here with my boyfriend, Chuck. I'm a full time student at Alaska Pacific University where I study Environmental Science. I also work at Friday's where I'm a server trainer. Alaska's BEAUTIFUL! We're surrounded by mountains and water. The aurora is the coolest thing I've ever seen in my entire life! The way it sways across the sky and ripples is breathtaking! Its pretty cold up here, too. It doesn't feel that cold sometimes but when your eyelashes freeze together, you know its cold! There are alot of moose in town. They're almost like the deer in VA. One recently fell off the overpass and onto the highway. Good thing it didn't hit a car!

SLEEPING! Hiking, swimming, kyaking, white water rafting, bungee jumping, sky diving, rock climing, skiing, pretty much anything outside. My nephews. I love them! Food, especially chinese food and chocolate.

Movies:

Waiting, Snatch, Oceans 11 & 12, Office Space, Fight Club, Half Baked, Resident Evil 1 & 2, Let's Go To Prison. I'll add more when I think of them.

Television:

I LOVE HOUSE!!! Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and Criminal Intent, The 4400, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, South Park, anything on the Discovery and Science Channels, and the news like CNN and Dateline.

Books:

I only recently started reading for enjoyment. I bought a bunch of books(and one was given to me)to read on the trip up here. The Origin of Species by Darwin (its a tough read), The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allen Poe (I've always loved his work), and The Ingenuity of Animal Survival: Winter World (do you know what chorus frogs do for the winter?...I do!) I actually enjoy reading my Geology book. Its awsome! I'm a dork!

Heroes:

I have a couple. One is my professor at VWCC who helped me get to where I am today. The other is my mother. She's a little crazy sometimes but she knows whats best. She's really sick and she takes care of my two nephews. The last ones my dad. He works real hard to support my family. He's the hardest worker I know.
