A piece of me, my music, and life.I've been involved with music science I can remember. I started out dancing and performing as a kid and that advanced into singing and song writing in my early teens..and here I am today, still a slave to sound. I was signed to Sony Music Norway some time ago, released 2 hit single's but I left before album release, feeling I was cheating on my self and the music I wanted to create. Through out the 90s and early 2000 it was all House for me. The DJ scene ruled my existence and I became heavily involved creating Oslo's underground scene. In 95 I ran PURE nightclub only to start up SKANSEN later that year with Per Haave, packing up the place with world class DJ's. It became the club for Europe's top brass to come spin. We messed with the boundaries, mixing live Jazz, Perc, vocals, experimenting pushing the envelope to the max. Great artists such as Trulz and Robin, Per Marthinsen, Nick Sillitoe, Nils Petter Molvaer and Bugge Wesseltoft to name a few, had some of they're killer live sets at Skansen. After 6 years of devoting my self to the club and the scene, I left the madness and my failed marriage behind, packed up my shit and headed to NYC. That's 5 years ago and now NY is my home.I never stopped making tunes, but it's been very private to me, something I'd never really shared with anyone, a diary in a way. I know it's bullshit, so here it is, my hart, soul sweat and tears and then some. Mind you, these are only ideas and sketches really, nothing has been produced yet. Just a midi keyboard, my Mac and me. It is time to take it to the next level. I need to get my ass into a studio.I hope you get the idea, and like my work so far.Love Cecilie
