Mass Murder Frenzy is a death metal band bassed in Orange County California started by founder Tim LaBossiere. As 2004 was coming to its end, Tim was playing guitar for numerous bands with the passion for something heavy and brutal. Tim finally decided to resurrect the thrash-death metal style of his old band from 93-98 called Decubitus. He would write all new material with that same aggression which would eventually become Mass Murder Frenzy. Early 2005 Tim approached various musicians to collaborate with and get Mass Murder Frenzy underway. As summer approached and many failed attempts in finding band members he finally hooked up with bassist Ken Lauzon, drummer Jay Brewer and guitarist Sam Mix. The band hit the studio to begin working on the music. The main focus was to get a CD recorded and start playing shows. With 2006 approaching Mass Murder Frenzy recorded Below the Surface. Sam, Jay and Ken would leave the band shortly after. Eric Fuller (drums) Jon Gray (second guitar) and Vic Silva (bass) would replace them and begin playing local shows and short touring in 2006/2007.
