About Me

Graduating from Victoria College of the Arts in 1992 on electric and double bass Jonathan has performed both nationally and internationally including numerous tours to New Zealand the United States and Canada, Japan, the UK, Europe and Russia.Jonathan has been a regular member and contibuting composer of Melbourne based, original Jazz / Improvising Ensembles; The Luke Howard Trio, Anton Delecca Quartet, kadoonka, The Situationists and Facelifter, performing at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Wangaratta Jazz Festival and the Half Bent Festival. In 2005 Jonathan began working with Pete Murrays and The Stonemasons and more recently with Ian Moss touring and recording with them extensively. Jonathan's latest project is with a new young Melbourne singer songwriter Madelina Hay producing her album and working as her musical director. Jonathan plays a 1920s Czech Acoustic Bass and Fender Electric Basses.
