About Me

Well here is the part we all love where we get to tell all who view this page just how wonderful we are.lol.I am just a simple woman who has her family raised and is now enjoying the grandchildren I was lucky enough to be blessed with.I totally enjoy my life these days.I am in a wonderful new relationship that has been the greatest new chapter in my life.Tom is a kind and generous soul who has added to my life in so many ways.I have lost the people in my life that have always been there for me.My parents, my loving aunt and a few good friends.But that being said I have made some wonderful new friends and enjoy my family every chance I get. I love waterfalls and covered bridges.Love fishing and camping and country music (new and old) and some of the oldies.I consider myself funloving and God fearing.I know there is no greater love than our God who is with me everytime I encounter a storm of life.Although I don't have all the answers I do have faith that his word is real.I collect gingerbread dolls as they represent the fact I love to cook.I would do it 24/7 if I could. I enjoy making treats for family and friends.I am currently working on a cookbook that is a collection of recipes from "Backdoor Guests and Family Requests" which I have ultimately titled it.I have the ability to say what I really feel no matter how "uncool" it might make me.I live my life to the fullest and enjoy being around those who can make me laugh outloud.

My Interests

Writing and cooking.Baking treats for my friends at work to enjoy!!Love to try new recipes.I love playing euchre with family and friends.I like to catch a good movie once in a while.Meeting new people and sharing life's stories.Gonna start a recipe book from my family and friends and have it published is a project i have been working on.

I'd like to meet:

I would have loved to meet my Grandmother Neal. I saw her one time at her funeral and it makes me sad to think of it, and how her life might have been if she could have enjoyed her family.I was only four at the time but i knew she loved me and it was a special unspoken moment I will forever treasure. I would also like to meet Simon Cowell he makes me sick being so rude.I can't stand how he has been allowed to make a mint doing it!!

Music:

I like country,oldies rock and for some reason am strangley attracted to salsa music too.My all time favorite artist is Collin Raye he is by far the most handsome man I have ever seen and with the voice of an angel.Been to 14 concerts of his to date.Always try to see him when he is in the area.The best song I have ever heard is from Josh Grobin here on my page.Check out the beautiful video below.

Movies:

the notebook,harlem nights,tin men,somethings gotta give, as good as it gets, sweet home alabama,what about bob,tin men, national lampoons deadly sins,radio,officer and a gentleman,mrs.winterbourne,witness, mirror has two faces,while you were sleeping,something about mary,pretty woman,sixth sense,something to talk about,dirty dancing,money pit,the great outdoors,love comes softly series, and my all time favorite Porky's.

Television:

Not much on TV. Like movies on lifetime or hallmark. i like the ghost whisper,medium, two and a half men,are you smarter than a fifth grader, raymond, american idol and americas got talent.I watch CMT alot and channel 10 soaps occasionally just to keep up.

Books:

mrs. mike, sideways story to wayside school, and the chicken soup series.like magazines like Woman's World and First.

Heroes:

Well I have so many heroes with all our men and women in uniform who give their lives everyday to keep us all safe here at home.Truly a remarkable group of people.My Dad of course is my main hero who has always been there for us kids and loved us unconditionally.My mom who gave me her cooking talents.My Aunt Alma who was kindest person I have ever known.I miss you all dearly.
