------------------------------------------------- --------------

Ana Pais: I..ve been studying Communication Design at the faculty of Fine Arts in Portugal but, at this moment, i..m studying at Moholy-Nagy college of Arts and Design in Budapeste, Hungary. I love rather to interconnect design, photography and illustration in my work, always looking for me to adapt to situations in wich i must comply with certain restrictions. Therefore, it is a challenge achieve adapt my style to each new project because it obliges me to have a new look about it. I photographed James, Mind da Gap, Paulo Praça, Alberto Almeida, The Sounds and Unkle Bob etc. I did some photo exhibitions and i also photographed Portugal Fashion 2007. I..ve also done some documentary and arhitecture photography works to "Gráfica do Tortosendo", and i..m always open to learn new media and art. The Fine Arts..education focus the conceptual/theory and also the practice so i think i..m in the right direction to create a mixed work between art and design, serving our "consumer society".

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

DEPECHE MODE

I have questioned whether fans of bands like Depeche Mode get more emotional with the songs than the band itself. I would like to know that. So many times that the music played, probably they should not have this connection with the music itself. I remember that in all the bad moments i had since I was little and when i was alone, i approached myself over the Music, especially (and mostly) the songs of Depeche Mode. Therefore, I have ties with them that I can not explain in words and it..s a beautiful/sad connection that i have with something that its so difficult to have in front of my eyes. i always found silly those people who start crying and yelling, but sometimes i wonder if i wouldn..t do the same if i saw them someday. it gives me goose flesh when i think of it.
