I am the proud Mommy of the most beautiful and awesome twin boys, ever! Everyday with them is an adventure...never a dull moment. They are both incredibly intelligent and always full of laughter and joy. I am loved by a great man and we have been married for almost 17 years!(Isn't that incredible!!) He says I look my best in a sundress with no shoes, no make-up and my hair piled on top of my head...what more could a woman ask for! I am a true Southern Girl...I like the mountains, the river and the beach...which is my home away from home! I adore the low-country! I love my flip flops and my pearls...although most of the time you will find me barefoot! I love sweet tea and the smell of honeysuckles. I love baseball in the spring and football in the fall. I like to fish and can even bait my own hook, although my Daddy still does it for me!! My guys & I are "foodies" and we love to cook together and eat together...anything & everything. I love, love, love my Jeep and we have lots of fun with the top off on our road trips! I have a passion for photography and my guys are my favorite subjects. I have an incredible family and the greatest friends....I am truly blessed and thankful!!
To be nobody - but yourself - in a world which is doing it's best, night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human can fight; and never stop fighting. EE Cummings
"In the South, the breeze blows softer...neighbors are friendlier, nosier, and more talkative. (By contrast with the Yankee, the Southerner never uses one word when ten or twenty will do)...This is a different place. Our way of thinking is different, as are our ways of seeing, laughing, singing, eating, meeting and parting. Our walk is different, as the old song goes, our talk and our names. Nothing about us is quite the same as in the country to the north and west. What we carry in our memories is different too, and that may explain everything else."--Charles Kuralt in "Southerners: Portrait of a People"
