Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and for the last 14 years has resided in New York City. In 1996 she graduated from Lehman College with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications and a Minor In Theater.

A year before getting her degree, She started doing her first steps on Television. She worked as a host of several shows and entertainment segments for , Univion Network from 1996-2001. She also appeared in Primer Impacto , Noticiero Univision , El Gordo Y La Flaca .

Celines Toribio is one of the most well-known Hispanic personalities. Becoming a star who's shine has being presented in many popular network programs. NBC's show " , EXTRA " recently highlighted Celines as one of the most popular and beloved on-air talents for Latinos in the US. , Telemundo's news magazine:" , Al Rojo Vivo " Con Maria Celeste, have also shown Celines' charisma in several interviews coverage. Another well-known show " , Don Francisco Presenta " from Univion network recently named Celines as a Latin Pride for the Hispanic youth in the USA.
In 2004 she presented to her audience her third swimsuit calendar, "Celines 2004". Not only is this her most successful calendar to-date, it will also be her last as Celines seeks new challenges in the film industry. Her acting debut was in the independe film "Los Locos Tambien Piensan".In this movie she plays the leading role. She was the Co-host of one of the most popular morning show "Coco Y Celines" in the which aired in Univision Radio NY. In 2002, hosted her first English language television show called " , Urban Latino ". A half-hour entertainment show that aired on CBS Channel 2 NY.She is also the host of the very popular Major League Baseball Show, " Sabor A Beisbol " which is produced by the Major League Baseball and airs during Baseball season in 32 Contries Worldwide.Thanks to my dedication and exposure on television, I had received a vast variety of awards from the community. * Godmother of The Dominican Parade of New York. * ACE Awards 1999-Best T.V.
