Johnny Seven

About Me

Whether he's up there by himself, or with any of his hardrocking colleagues, Johnny Seven is an experience not to be missed. Principal of The Hunts Point Middle School 424 in the South Bronx, this anti-folk veteran boasts four CDs, a killer live show and a line-up that hasn't changed since its inception. Joined in any combination by Pat Burke on drums, Debbie Hertz on harp and percussion, David Quarshie on bass, Deena Granowetter playing cello, and more than 20-year sidekick Johnny Fury on guitar, they are known for their tight melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and willingness to play just about anywhere. They have appeared at festivals, nightclubs, colleges, public schools, churches, old age homes, parking lots, and New York City sidewalks. They look forward to playing at an electrical outlet near you.
