We'll start with the basics. I'm Kristina. I'm soon going to be a sophomore at UNLV. I'm a film major who loves to capture the little moments of life. I love to laugh. I lvoe to be outside whether it be up in the mountains, next to a pool, sittiingi n the driveway with friends or just being in the shade of my porch on the hammock. I work at one of the best places ever: Starbucks! I love every moment of meeting new people, laughing with friends and touching lives through one cup of coffee at a time.Movie Nights are the best friday nights ever. My friends and I don't do them all that often but when we ave them they are the best. I love to be able to pick a random old movie on TMC and spend an afternoon exploring the old cinematography. I love foreign films, romantic movies, comdies. I really hate to watch scary/horror movies because I scare easily. My top ten movies include: Casablanca, Beauty and the Beast, August Rush, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Zoolander, The Lion King, Tristan and Isolde, Meet the Robinsons, What A Girl Wants and Legally Blonde.If you could not already tell, my life is defined by music. from car trips, to late night in the park with my best friend, to school and home, Music defines everything about me. I was a band kid for 7 years and after I decided to no longer continue my band trips and classes after high school I still play the flute. More importantly, I'm a writer who aspires to one day be published and become a screenwriter. I also want to direct films. Life is too short to waste it not living out your dreams so I am a dreamer who plans to fulfill my goals.I love to read too. In High school you could always find me with a book somewhere on my person. I was the geek who loved to do homework and read just for fun. Reading a book is like stepping into another world. It's one of the main reasons I want to write.I want to touch people's lives. i want to make a difference in the world and I do not care how big or small it may be.I don't really watch all that many sports, but i did play soccer at one point in time. Soon after high school ended so did my playing, but if you get tickets to some kind of game I'm game to go! I love to hangout with people. I love to share stories and sometimes even silence. I know that sounds wierd but my best friend and I can sit in a room for hours without one word being spoken and it's nice to jsut know you have that kind of company in your life.I want to travel one day. See the world. I've been to London and Germany (though I have no memories of it). I think just being able to say I've been to those places triggered my need to go out and see more. I want to hike some of the coolest trails, see the world's wonders and meet people from everywhere. My next big trip out of the US is hopefully back to Germany or to Spain.Between my love for music, travel, movies and writing there is very limited time I guess to be a girly girl. Don't get me wrong, I love to shop as any girl does but I'm the type of girl who can get ready in 30 minutes or less and leave the house in jeans and a t-shirt and my favorite sneakers. I love to go camping or hiking. I like to do yard work, to paint, to run barefoot in the sand, to play football with the guys, and occasionally the random video game.Other than that there's not much left to tell. Some would say I'm a child with an old soul. Others would flat out say I'm rude and stuck up. For me, I'm just me. I'm Nineteen and just trying to find my place in the world.
