The story of
M DESTINY goes back to the early 90s. Musicians are, Ron Marquiss Guitar and vocals, Chris Conley Drums, Bob Turner Bass. It was a South Jersey, Phila. Band. For several years we played in this area. Had some radio play and a few local TV shows. Our set list would change from night to night. (Most of the time we played 3 sets a night.) We loved to jam the tunes (improvise) as much as we could. For 4 years we never once played a cover except for one exception, All Blues by Miles Davis. It was always original and nothing else. We used many vocalists, who I thought were good and bad but nevertheless changed the feel of the music. The music is awesome and travels with time as seen by many requests from around the world for this CD and receive orders for it to this day. Other earlier M DESTINY recordings have not made it to CD but are as well just as interesting.
This page is also a testament to RAVENSONG. This was an acoustic duo performing live for three years. Only 8 recordings in a low budget studio but the intentions were to see how the digital realm could enhance the lower quality format. Fortunately we were able to capture and save the music even though the quality is not at its best. This was a rare moment in time for both Joni (vocals) and Ron (guitar) because there was magic in the air in the live setting.
