The songs on this site were written by my husband Roddy and I. Some have been recorded by other artists but the versions on this site are sung by yours truely.
I'm originally from San Francisco, Ca. (Go Niners & Giants)! But when I was just a little tamale we moved to the Napa Valley where I learned to appreciate great food and great wine. Other than that, there's not a whole lot to do in little old Napa, so I would spend my time writing poetry, songs and singing. I also met my amazing husband, Roddy Love, in Napa. It WASN'T love at first sight, hee hee. He had really long hair (it was the 80's) and I had just graduated from highschool. We weren't exactly each other's type, but there's something to be said about opposites attracting. We almost instantly became best friends and a year later we were quite the item! We recetnly celebrated 18 years of marriage and I can't imagine my life with anyone else.
One of the most important parts of our relationship is our love of music and songwriting. We have learned a lot from eachother. Many years of band rehearsals, gigs, and parties have come and gone and we're still going strong. Roddy and I enjoy writing about everything from personal experience to stories we hear from friends and family. Our own family consists of 3 bluetick coonhounds (Wynonna, McGraw, and Bubba Jones), 1 shihtzu(Haggard), 1 pomeranian/jack russel TERROR mix(Tammy), and 1 cat(Tiger) and our newest edition's, the miniature horse (Buck) and the teacup chihuahua (Paisley).
In December of 2005, Roddy and I FINALLY made the big move to Nashville, Tennessee after talking about if for two years. Yes, we drove cross country with ALL the animals. It can be done people. We LOVE it here and so do all the furry kids! Our gigging days with the band have passed but we still perform at writer's rounds and writer's nights. We're writing on a regular basis together as well as with other songwriters.

I've been in the business for sixteen years and I started the Hair Mafia in July of 2006.
