For me Columbus in general, and life in particular just restates the negativeness of the universe, the hideous lonely emptiness of existence, nothingness, the predicament of man forced to live in a barren, godless eternity, like a tiny flame flickering in an immense void, with nothing but waste, horror, and degradation, forming a useless bleak straightjacket in a black absurd cosmos.*****
Im not just another nameless, faceless number, not just some consumer being force fed opinion from Washington, corporate media and big business. i dont have to have my thoughts and actions dictacted by religion. i can think for myself. i dont watch MTV, BET, fox news (or any corporate media for that matter)!!! MTV is ruining the creative faculty that that once made music worth listening to. im not one of the people that can just sit back and watch the world around me count down to detonation. i dont believe in an economic system were peoples lives take a backseat to profits. i dont belive in leaders that are nothing more than legitamized thieves protected by an executive of near endless power that answer to no one less than god!!!! i will not be part of a culture that is unknowingly assimilated into mindless drones raised from birth to be subordinate consumers that mindlessly fall into line behind a government that is nothing more than the shadow cast upon society by big business. i care deeply about the people of Chechnya, Darfur and other regions of the world where the first world elites have turned a blind eye to genocide and famine, about the innocents mowed down by transnational corporate aggression. i dont think merely describing the autrocities in the world is good enough without subcribing solutions and action. I BELIEVE PEOPLE CAN MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. THE KIND OF PLACE I WANT MY SON TO GROW UP IN.MY LITTLE MAN:
