LORD OF CROWS

Lord of Crows aka Paolo Bernacchia was born in 1972 in Porto San Giorgio, a little city in the centre of the Italian Adriatic coast. Since he was eight years old, his father also a musician taught him to play piano. Because his father had many synthesizers he felt in love for synthetic sounds and sound design. His first band was in 1986 so called “Sextons” a dark rock band where is role was as keyboard player. Two years later in 1988 house music was developing all over the world and lord of crows at the time called Paul Barry was involved in producing house tracks with DJ MBG, who taught him how to mix and DJing. In 1991 he was second DJ at Champagne Club in Cattolica (Rimini) and it was also the same year of his first release “The gates of Heaven” on Flying records label. In 1992 he was working as first DJ at Rock O’Ko in Cattolica, Rimini during the winter season. Between 1992 and 1998 Lord of Crows disappeared from the house music scene to approach many bands projects such as “Domus”, “ Inseminators”, “Alta Pressione Acid Jazz” & many others cooperations. In 2000 Alta Pressione Acid Jazz where was playing as keyboard player and sequencers splat up and Lord of Crows was involved again in house music, but this time more in the techno field. He played with DJ Pech, Ronny DJ and Breviglieri DJ between 2000 and 2003 using keyboard sequencers, samplers and laptops, in many clubs in Italy such as: “ Cenerentola” (Modena), “Mamamia” (Senigallia), “Flexus Hi Club” (Porto San Giorgio), “Galeone” (Passetto D’Ancona), “Spirity” (Carpi), “BB Disco Dinner” (Cupra Marittima). In 2003 Lord of Crows moved to London where he was welcomed from Femy B DJ and Cosmo DJ, cooperating together. In 2004 Lord of Crows started to play in many prestigious clubs in London including Nama Bar, 93 Feet East and Alhambra. In 2005 Lord of Crows achieved his studies in sound Engineering and Music Technology and was able to go to play as DJ between the bands gigs at the famous House of Blues in Chicago, where he stayed until spring 2006. Between 2007 and 2008 Lord of Crows joined Kinetic Groove a British record label, created by three DJ’s Lord of Crows, Stefan Cordery and Ben Hoo. Playing in many venues including Kensington Bar & Kitchen where the label launch party took place. Lord of Crows is about to release his first EP “Discovery” on Kinetic groove label willing to play his DJ set in many clubs as possible all over the planet.
