Kimora.
It's me Kimora Lee Simmons, I finally decided to check out myspace after hearing so so much about it. If I don't respond to your messages, it's because I'm a little busy. I'll try to read and respond to as many as time allows, but I know I won't be able to get to them all.
I was born to a Korean mother, Joanne Perkins, and African American father, Vernon Whitlock, Jr. I began a modeling career at age 13 with her mother's encouragement and hope of instilling self-confidence me. By age 14, I had grew to a height of six feet and became a self-professed muse for The House of Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld. As a child I was very self-conscious about being biracial. Working as a model, however, it made me stand out, and I now refer to myself as being a black or multiethnic woman.
I married hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons on 20 December 1998. We had shared an elaborate estate in Saddle River, New Jersey. We have two daughters --Ming Lee Simmons (21 January 2000) and Aoki Lee Simmons (16 August 2002)-- who both model for Baby Phat Kids Collection.
I am the founder of the Baby Phat brand.
I was cast as one of the celebrity judges on the reality series "America's Next Top Model." I had a feud with Janice Dickinson which led her to quit after one season.
My first book, Fabulosity, published by Judith Regan of Simon & Shuster's Regan Books, was released on February 21, 2006. Recently, I designed a new line of jewelry, called the Hello Kitty Collection. I used the Sanrio Logo of Hello Kitty on the face of all of these new accessories.
