Coming August 26, 2006 from singer-songwriter Karen Fisher, The New Has Come. The CD marks the second full-length release for the talented Texan, and it finds her songwriting evocative and uplifting, her sound mature and honest, and her vocals as amazing as ever. The album consists of 13 originals including the praiseful title track “The New Has Comeâ€, with its bluesy guitar, keyboard sounds, and gospel-tinged vocal breakdowns. “Gravity,†an irresistibly catchy sing-along anthem declares that "Your love is like Gravity/ it keeps pulling me closer and closer to you." Fisher has already earned comparisons to Contemporary Christian heavyhitter Nichole Nordeman, and with this slick and soulful release she proves she has the talent to become just as big a name. The New Has Come was recorded and mixed by Kevin Peters at Glass Jar Studios in Abilene, Texas, and will be available August 26, 2006, through www.karenfishermusic.com and at live performances. The New Has Come is the second release from Georgia native Karen Fisher.
