Inspiration for me has many different faces.It sings in many different languages.And the sound of its voice is never the same.The look on its face is like the one of a human being.Happy, and sometimes sad.It can laugh and sometimes cry.Scream in rage and then die of laughter. I have spend most of my time doing research on how to recieve this gift of inspiration with acceptance.Without judgment.Without critisism.I have been playing for 13yrs now.I have played everything from Pop, funk, R&B, rock, jazz, blues, metal, world beat, techno and house, reggae, salsa and merengue and various african oriented styles such as, soukous, makossa, high life, zouk, afro beat etc.Each of these styles holds a face of its own.Each of them bringing me joy, excitement, love and so many other beneficial emotions.And most importantly, the chance to get to know and connect at a higher level with different human beings from different places around the globe.Music has given me the tools necessary to evolve and grow as a artist and as a person.It has guided me to paths of light that I might have never taken not having explored the art.Music and the relationship that comes with it helped me overcome certain forms of predudice, selfish pride, ego, lack of confidence and many more undesired emotions and has brought to seek for what is good in life and in people.It helps me look for the better of things opposed to the worst.Music for me, now, is simply a form of expression that I carry with me wherever I go.When I am somewhere and cannot speak the language, I sing.Then eveything is understood.I was once a bass player, until I met him. Now, I'm "the" bass.I'm "the" drums.I'm "the" melody.I'm "the" voice.I am everything.Now "I am" the "music."With all the love and humility I have accumulated along the years, I thank you for reading this and I hope you will enjoy the music I have to offer.
