I am here for Friends

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The greatest power in the universe and on this planet is human intent...My name is Brianne, and I am an indigo woman.
&nbsp I am (attempting) to learn tribal belly dance; I am not the greatest yet, but I love it and it enables me to connect with a deeper part of myself. I also love to sew, quilt, and explore new mediums of art – I have a deep respect for the genuine artist. I love reading books about society, history, new ideas, and earth shakers. If you have any great books, then let me know! I am not much into parties, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to have a good time! I am kinda shy, and I can blush easily. I prefer one on one conversations to groups…I feel that people are more “real” when they can let go of all the social pressures around them.
Sometimes I feel as though I am above all the craziness of humanity – the vanity, the masks, and the general tendency to look past the self, although I often find myself caught up in it as well. I want to change the system so bad, but if you ask me what I would like to do, I wouldn’t know how to answer you. I’ll think on that one…
&nbsp I love being in touch with nature…it’s the greatest feeling to dig your feet in the earth and connect with Gaia. To walk beneath the rain that nourishes life is an honor, to touch one of her creatures is a gift. To fully appreciate her requires quieting the mind and becoming aware of everything as it is in that moment – “there is never nothing happening.” Because I love Gaia and respect life, I am a vegetarian. I find it difficult to consume a life that never was – a “life” that was not honored or treated with dignity.
I am insatiable when it comes to the sound of African hand drums…actually just any kind of cultural music and dance in general! It speaks to my soul. I don’t understand this whole race and religion thing…diversity is what makes the world so interesting! What would happen if we all had the same beliefs? Values? Interests? If we lose our diversity, we lose language, we lose perspective, and we lose knowledge!
&nbsp I have always wanted to travel – not just sit in a hotel room in an exclusive resort, but experience different cultures as they are and as they were. I would love to walk among the ancient Incan ruins or feel the energy within the pyramids of Egypt. If you are open and quiet, you can feel the past – the emotions and actions still exist, as they are energy, and energy cannot be destroyed, only transformed. I want to learn from each person I encounter! Everyone you meet, even if only briefly, has something to teach you. If not, what would be the point of human interaction?
Anyways, if you want to know anything about me, just ask;) I have interesting ideas, and I hope you do as well! Peace be with you all (and don’t forget to pass the light on to those that need it!)
