Coyote Cates a Country /Soul trio who have been together for 2 years and have been recording their own album and hope to follow in the footsteps of the great Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain. These three exceptionaly talented girls Include: Claire Age 21 from Easterhouse in Glasgow who started up the band once she left high school and studying at Uni , Claire's voice is very special unique which holds a great Soul sound up there with the greats of Christina and Mary J Blige , Claire and the Girls also write their own material as well as working with songwriter Al James from Edinburgh and also Tim Scrafton from Manchester who has written songs for Whitney Houston. The next member of Coyote Cates is Eilidh Macrae who is 21 years old grew up with a classical background piano , shen also writes music for the band , claire and Eilidh met at auditions for another girlband over 2 years ago and instantly connected with each other and knew thier talent with grow amazing together in a group. The third member of the Coyote Cates is Kerry Hunter from Easterhouse 20 years old who is Claire's cousin, growing up Claire and Kerry went to Stage School from the age of 10 till the age of 19 together studying dance and singing they also studied Musical Theatre at the same Drama school. Kerry has a beautiful voice with so much control and power. The Coyote Cates have been gigging gor the past year starting off promoting their music in clubs like Buffalo Joes in Glasgow on a regular basis the girls created so much of a buzz they were asked to perform at Buffalo Joes in Gateshead also where they went down a storm to the 500 people, The girls landed a support slot with Soul legends from the movie Commitments at their only Scottish gig of 2006 on November 11th at The Rothes Hall in Glenrothes, They have also performed in a number of schools around Glasgow for 1-6 year pupils and created a lot of their followers through those gigs. Local events of Easterhouse at the Bridge Auditorium At John Wheatley where the event was organised by all local talented acts from the area, the Event was named Eastfest the coyote cates sold out the venue as all young fans from the area had seen them at their school. The future is looking bright for these young girls who work 5-6 times a week at rehersals , songwriting and recording in the studio.
