About Me

You could guess from the photo that I've probably been playing a while. And you'd be right. I try not to confine myself to any particular style but I guess I'd always come back to rock, blues, fusion and jazz. I'm always up for a challenge and play the best I can, but I'm way past the 'heading for the stars' stage. I'm happy if I can come away from a live event or recording thinking that I've created something in my playing that really lifts the material. For me, creativity is the key with the potential to interpret stuff in a way that truly works. Venues - anything from a pub to an arena as long as there's some feedback from the people out there. And yes, I'm kidding with the drummer extraordinaire bit!

Oh Brothers (and Sisters) Wherefore Art Thou?

On Course for Planet Jazz

Don't they always advise you never to stand still? I'm not even sitting still. A seamless transition it may not be but I'm now absorbing some great new-to-me stuff. It heads firmly in the directi...
