About Me

Surfing is more than a sport. It’s a lifestyle. Beneath the common stereotypes lies a worldwide family bonded by a mutual respect and passion for the water and the waves. In Walking on Water, follow surf celebrities C.J. Hobgood, Damien Hobgood, Tom Curren, Al Merrick, Bethany Hamilton into the deep of their individual spiritual journeys, and discover what makes them, and other top watermen and women, believe that surfing is meaningless without an authentic faith in something more.

Jeremy V. Jones is the associate editor of Breakaway, a nationally recognized magazine for teen guys. As an award winning writer, he has covered topics ranging from surfing, sports, adventure and fitness to relationships, sexuality and technology. Jeremy is an avid outdoor athlete who surfs and snowboards whenever he has the chance, and he enjoys traveling with his family. He absolutely adores his wife and young daughter, and most of the time thinks his two yellow labs are pretty cool, too.
