Life in the country side is peaceful, looking out over fields of rice, watching it grow while taking breakfast. The new studio has been wonderful, especially now with couch in it.
About the album :
"World of Silver & Gold" is exploring a mellower side of life with tracks great for relaxing and introspective headphone walks, leading into some mood spritzer songs to lighten and brighten the spin of any day. The album is a journey, in this era of downloads, this album is a 45 minute soundscape to sculpt, skip, slink or sulk to. How ever your spend your mellow, this is for you.
'World of Silver and Gold' was recorded in a little home studio in Taipei. It's been good, but harder than expected. The best part was working with favorite lyricists and piecing together loops, samples and live recordings to make these songs.
The hard part is just getting them out there for you. It is very different than the first album 'MoreLisa'.
In 2003, the album 'MoreLisa' was a 'major' studio release on the Friendly dogs label. It's kinda soda poppy with a light reggae soul.
'World of Silver & Gold' was released on Working Master label and distributed by Rock Records in Taiwan, HK, Singapore, Malaysia and very soon CHINA!
Currently I am writing and arranging independently with publishing under Universal. Working on the material for the next albums in my home studio.
Some History :
Started music at 3 with piano lessons and then choir. Grew up in tougher parts of Paris, a good kid. Moved out as a teen, and struggled like young musicians everywhere (couch surfing, wearing black, changing jobs, putting myself through school, working in a cafe, hitting as many parties as possible, and making tons of music.) Big ups to Little Dan and the posse! Life was all reggae, all ragga, all sound system... all the time. The posse was family for 6 of the toughest and best years of life.
