NATI was born in Rennes , originaly formed by Ted, Julien and Oliver. The different styles of each member of the band, makes it particulary colorfull. Ted comes from the Carribean crossing through Montreal Canada to finally go back to his familly origins in Brittany, his guitar playing is blended with rock strikes as well as funk thang, he write songs and sings in Creol language, finding there the roots of carribean "gwo-ka" (percussions). Julien Grew up in the heart of Brittany, and use to play bass in different bands, some of traditional celtic origins, other ones having a serious jazz-rock colour. He's also a professional musician, you may find his name on some records or on several band's line up. As he played with oliver Long time ago, they have a strong friendship, wich is the easyway to communicate and find the osmosis that is one of the band's essential trick. Oliver is the real engine of the team, building up the grooves along with the bass and fusionally raising up the guitar's riffs. They soon were joined by Marion, who's fantastic and naturally clear voice came up to finish this beautifull and lightfull fusion.The band is preparing their first album and planning to begin the tour for 2007.The two demo songs on this site will give you an idea of what will come out when everything's in the box... Les apports culturels différents de ces trois musiciens ont donné une musique particulièrement colorée ... Accents Funk - Jazzrock et créole sont au croisement des routes qui les ont menés jusque là. Ted est originaire des Caraibes en passant par Montreal Canada, il a beaucoup tourné dans des environnements très différents : guitariste Reggae, issu du rock, il rencontre les musiciens du groupe de jazzrock afro-cubain NATURA avec qui il se lie d'amitié et passe avec eux des moments qui marqueront sérieusement sa carrière musicale. Arrivé en Bretagne, il poursuit son évolution en co-fondant le groupe NATI prenant là une orientation Funk assez prononcée. Julien, lui est issu du milieu Jazzrock de Rennes, il est tient la basse dans divers groupes et apparaît dans plusieurs formations LIVE. Oliver quand à lui a toujours évolué dans des groupes en tant que batteur depuis son adolescence notamment avec son frère (Tom Chapman) et au travers de groupes marqués des univers pop et jazzrock.Bientôt rejoins par Marion au chant, qui vient donner une touche lumineuse à cette fusion incandescante... Le groupe prépare son premier album dont la tournée est prévue pour 2007 - Les 2 titres demo que vous pouvez écouter sur ce site vous laissent deviner la suite... rendez vous en 2007 quand tout sera "dans la boite"...
