About Me

We've just sorted out the dates & venues for us to finish BARSSfest 2008 after the disruption of 28th September. We're awaiting confirmation of availability of the acts. ALL Sunday tickets will be valid for both dates (11th November at Que C's & 15th November at The Two Magpies). We're really looking forward to two great opportunities to hear fantastic music.
It's a real celebration of the musical talent that can be found in & around Bristol. As you can tell from it's title it's all about giving singer songwriters a platform. It's amazing that when the mainstream music industry seems to be incapable of finding any real talent both myspace & Bristol city, UK are just bursting with it...
Last year (2007) we showcased 41 acts, improving on the 29 acts we had the year before. We have great plans for this year (2008). For more details check out our website at www.barssfest.co.uk .
Once again there will be pre-festival events (at a variety of different venues in Bristol) every evening between 21st-26th September.
