ABOUT IVRY...
While attending high school in the US, IVRY had the chance to experience the origins of soul music as a member of the gospel choir at his church. In the course of his classical vocal training he went on tour with his high school choir thru the Midwest and had in this connection his first solo appearances in major cities as Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis and Madison.
Shortly after his return the, by now Munich resident, half American quickly earned his respect as a DJ and supporting act for DJs and acts like the ReFugee Allstars (Independence Day Tour), Africa Islam (Rock Steady Crew, Ice-T, Zulu Nation etc.), Ministry Of Sound London and many others.
Casually he also worked as a model and played minor roles in commercials and German television productions such as Marienhof, Jets and Soko.
Despite different proposals from several famous producers, IVRY decided to go his own way and met the producer Gabriel Diansson, who quickly realized the exceptional talent and invited IVRY into his studio for a recording session. The fusion immediately worked perfectly and they jointly developed the new and current IVRY sound.
The smart artist convinces in the studio as well as on stage alike. Not only does he write his own lyrics entirely by himself, but also composes his own tracks.
As a child of the 80's he was affected, inspired and motivated by artists such as The Beatles, Elton John, Frank Zappa, Grandmaster Flash, Marvin Gaye, The O'Jays and many more out of all imaginable kinds of music. But the largest influence on him and his music always performed R&B and HipHop with all its different flavors and elements. Which clearly is being reflected in his style of writing lyrics, singing and the whole production itself.
When watching this young man at work, everybody quickly will realize that he dedicates his life exclusively to the process and its involved creativity.
Particularly in a time, when predominantly casting-shows with bred retort bands and acts are being thrown on the market, it is especially exiting to experience an authentic artist, who reflects his own creativity.

Während seiner High School Zeit in den USA hat IVRY die Ursprünge der Soulmusik im Gospel Chor erfahren und sich durch diese prägen lassen. Im Laufe seiner klassischen Gesangausbildung tourte er mit dem High School Chor durch den mittleren Westen der USA und konnte erste Erfahrungen bei Solo-Auftritte in Metropolen wie Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis und Madison sammeln.
Der mittlerweile wieder in München lebende Halbamerikaner machte sich nach seiner Rückkehr schnell einen Namen als DJ und Supporter bei Musikgrößen wie beispielsweise den ReFugee Allstars (Independence Day Tour), Afrika Islam (Rock Steady Crew, Ice-T, Zulu Nation), Ministry Of Sound London und vielen Anderen.
Nebenbei jobte er als Model und spielte Nebenrollen in Werbungen und Deutschen Fernsehproduktionen wie Marienhof, Jets und Soko.
Trotz Angeboten diverser namhafter Produzenten entschied sich IVRY seinen eigenen Weg zu gehen und traf dabei u.a. auf den Produzenten Gabriel Diansson, der sehr schnell erkannte mit welchem Ausnahmetalent er es zu tun hatte. Er lud IVRY in sein Studio ein um ein paar Demo-Aufnahmen zu machen. Die Fusion funktionierte auf Anhieb perfekt und man erarbeitete gemeinsam den neuen IVRY Sound.
Der smarte Künstler überzeugt im Studio sowie auf der Bühne gleichermaßen. Er schreibt nicht nur seine Texte komplett selbst, sondern komponiert zudem all seine Tracks in Eigenregie.
Als Kind der 80er Jahre wurde er durch Bands und Künstler wie die Beatles, Elton John, Frank Zappa, Grandmaster Flash, Marvin Gaye, The O’Jays und viele weitere aus nur allen erdenklichen Bereichen inspiriert und motiviert. Den größten Einfluss auf ihn und seine Musik hatten jedoch immer R’n’B und HipHop mit all ihren verschiedenen Facetten, was man an seinen Texten, seinem Gesang und der gesamten Produktion auch eindeutig hören kann.
Wenn man diesem jungen Mann bei seiner Arbeit zusieht, wird jeder schnell feststellen dass er sein Leben ausschließlich dieser und der damit verbundenen Kreativität widmet.
Gerade in einer Zeit, in der überwiegend in Shows gezüchtete Retorten-Bands auf den Markt geworfen werden, ist es besonders Aufregend wieder einen "wahren" Künstler erleben zu dürfen, der seine eigene Kreativität wieder gibt.
