I'm British and I live in Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. The Island is a french overseas department. I am a musician, journalist-photographer for Starring Press Agency (Association des Journalistes-Photographes de France)as their Indian Ocean correspondant and make documentary films on the fishing and maritime industry on the island. The population here is around 775000, the island is 2500 square kilometers and we have an active volcano, the Piton de la Fournaise. Take a look one day on the internet and you will see just how beautiful it is here. If you like beautiful places, hiking, diving, canyoning, paragliding etc. then this is the place to come. Reunion is multi-ethnic and there's always something going on. We have great concerts too, local and international (when someone wants to come.
