Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Year 12 2007 At the risk of being labeled, soft and a fag, I decided to write about the fun that together we have had, So, think what you want about what I’ve got to say, But together lets remember, on our final day.A year of great success, of fun and of joy, A time I’ll always treasure, as a might patty boy, I beg anyone to differ in agreeing with me here, But the green, white and blue we will always hold near,We’ve had courage to be ourselves, in an amazing unified way, Yet managed to intimidate teachers and anything they had to say, Together we have shared it all, and in the process become men, Together we have all stood tall, from 2002 way back then,When older people talk to you its amazing what they say, They little things they remember, from school back in their day, So now we’re in their shoes, and memories all we’ve got, Of time spent together, as a somewhat rowdy lot, It is alright to show emotion, that this means something to you, Coz that’s what living really is, to yourself you must be true, In writing this poem for you all it shows that I care, It shows even the coolest people have a heart their willing to bare. Now all that sooky crap is done and out of the way, Lets talk about the times no other school got near us, not even on their day, When foles bought the rowing cup home earlier this year, And Lauxy got a holiday for a few unruly cheers,When the footy boys won back what truly should be ours, And the awe-inspiring ranger speeches, that’d he’d practiced for hours, The times when Brades walked through the packed school halls, And “John Fuckin Brady”, were the only truly distinguishable calls,The soccer lads drew it, leaving us a bit hows your father, As long as those college pricks don’t get it, a draw is what we’d rather, The basketball boys didn’t quiet manage to bring home the cup, But the patty spirit inside them saw that they never did give up,The cricket fellas won it, in convincing fashion too, It was what we all expected, that wasn’t anything new, We haven’t heard that much, about what the band has done this year, Probably coz we shut them up by buying them new gear,The swimming and the athletics, both titles did we win, Those other schools against us, their chances always slim, And to the things that I forgot I’m sorry that that’s the case, However need we really mention the winners in a one horse race, Now a few moments that we witnessed throughout this year, That in recalling, due to laughter, could almost draw a tear, Like the heated scuffles between Wilksey and Dima, Where no one really cared who was the actual winner, Or the clean white walls we’d mark every day, You boys are banned, is what O’Connor would say,Or when bakes was taped securely to the pole, And his pants ripped down, in full view for all Or when water fights broke out when it was hot, The game wasn’t over until all had been got,If one of our boys should land in some trouble, Stands true the cliché, coz we were there on the double, A mates mate they’d say about everyone, Legendary bloke who loved to have funCoz that’s what this place makes us, whoever you may be, Takes you in and spits you out, in the colours that are three, Green white and blue, has become a vital part of our blood, And the time we’ve spent together all of us should cherish and love.See I want to make you think, in leaving this place today, Is you’ll always be a patty boy no matter what they say, And that’s something special, so many few can really claim, From all that have gone before us, a distinct few can do the same.So in closing now, I’ll leave you with a couple things to do, Which will prove you’ve got green white and blue running through you too. Remember the laughs Remember the smiles Remember the times we had for a while Remember the good Remember the bad Remember the fun that we once had Remember where you came from. Remember where you have been. Remember who you have encountered. Remember who you’ve have seen, Remember joyous moments. Remember sorrow too. Remember all the lessons. and the people that you knew.So thank you for being apart of a journey of so much fun, I’ll never forget all the amazing things that together we’ve done, It’s true for me and I hope for all, That when asked where you come from you do stand tall, And reply I’m a patty Boy of green white and blue, Coz there’s nothing more honourable than claiming that through and throughJ Caldow
