The IMC is a combination of four HIP HOP groups in one.The Fyte Club, M.O.S, Fathom 9, Kontrast, including DJ Capital A. These groups met each other through various open mics and battles over a few years in Memphis. On February 13th, 2004, the IMC threw their first show and have been going strong ever since. The IMC has opened up for Dead Prez, Afroman, and the teacher KRS-ONE. They traveled from Memphis to New York accepting an invitation to open for KRS-ONE and Blackmoon at S.O.B's. Pure creativeness, excitement, and passion for HIP HOP is what you get from the IRON MIC COALITION.
