Anatomy

About Me

Anatomy started with the new decade. In 1999 Frank Gallo and Dom Capone Started jamming that fall the began to play with Franks cousin Jake Verost. After a few practices the band met Jakes friend Greg Toole. The band began to play mostly songs written by Frank. With the occasional Nirvana cover thrown in. As high school hit the young lads saw change in the motivation of band founder Dom Capone. So the the band recorded their first album with out him. They cut a four track Ep then followed up later that year with 7 more tracks to make Humans From A Distorted Planet. The sound was teen punkgrunge. After that they giged and preped for the release of their second album. Thirteen months later they released The Destructors Of Nothing. A more polished alternapunk album. The boys gigged the most they would over this period of time. Then 13 months later they released Solar Plexus the bands most highly acclaimed album. Unfortunatly upon creation only one gig was played with Greg Toole before he began his hiatus. It is unclear if he will be playing in anatomy in the future. He is currently studying to become a doctor. After high school Anatomy reformed with Andrew Tuzhilin on Bass the band played at Geronimos in Jan 05. They hit the studio last summer releasing their fourth and most inspired album Intra Venus (IV) on March 31st 2006. They are currently finishing their 5th LP, The Rings Of Saturn due out in April 07.
