My mom, Jolene Chapman-Martinez is his sister. I was born in Denver, Colorado. I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was little. When I was about 13 or 14, I decided to walk away from God and do my own thing. After 14 years, or half of my life of running from God, I finally realized that is was hopeless to try and fight Him. The hole in my heart that I was constantly trying to fill was God-shaped and therefore, only God could fill it! In March 0f 2001, after reading a book entitled, "A Divine Revelation of Hell" by Mary K. Baxter, I came to the conclusion that Hell was not where I wanted to go if I died. I rededicated my life to Jesus and He was quick to forgive me and welcome me back with open arms. The prodigal son had returned!! Peace at last! Though the devil has brought many storms into my life to try to shake up my devotion to God, I have never had any regrets for the life changing decision I made to serve Him. I have been involved in our family Bail Bond business since 1994. I have been on several exciting bounties, in fact I have even had my pelvis fractured after a fugitive tried to run me over with his van. Not to mention the many times I've been maced. That's always fun! I surrendered my bail license in December 2004 to pursue a quieter lifestyle and to fulfill the call of God on my life by entering into the ministry. I moved to the East Coast 2 years ago to be closer to my two kids, Kaitlyn, who is 14 and Jason Jr., who is 12. I got to spend Christmas with them this year and it was awesome! I love and miss them very much! I am through with my 2nd year of college at New Life Bible College, which is part of Norvel Hayes Ministries in Cleveland,TN.I just went to Pennsylvania to see my kids. I got to be with my son on his birthday for the first time in a long time. I love them with all my heart and being a loving father and a Godly influence in their lives is a priority to me.
