My Story
I promise you it's different to 'most' bio's. Read on if you dare. I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. I discovered a passion for electronic music at the age of 11, and decided to pursue a career in DJ'ing. I then began DJ'ing at underage events at the age of 14. Continuing to pursue my goals, I decided to aim in a different direction. I had a burning desire to play overseas, and I wasn't going to be satisfied till I achieved this goal. I established a contact in Europe and was sponsored to fly down and play in the heart of Istanbul in May 2006, alongside many other DJ's from Europe I had once upon a time only dreamed about meeting. This was the biggest step in my career, and I knew that I loved every second of it. In 2007, I played alongside 'Christopher Lawrence' (ranked 4 in the world) which was great! 3 months later I was once again told to venture across the seas, but this time to the coastal side of Turkey, to start an Initiation with 'Halikarnas', and to rock the floors at 'Escape' nightclub. Whilst all this was happening, my success was rapidly rising in the Australian 'Trance & Hard Dance' scene, promising myself I will make an impact 'like no-other DJ has'. A ground-breaking DJ set at the 'Defcon Music Festival' gave Melbourne a good taste of this.. In 2008 my desires started to further unfold, my brand 'Amnesia' established itself as being the most popular 'Hardstyle' night on a Friday, and gained its own room at Q-Dance Melbourne. My whole crew shook the dance-floors, and proved they knew the Melbourne music scene, better than most others..... So where do I stand now? Thanks to Generation & Vinyl Pusher Records, my music productions have entered the global market, which has given me opportunity to expand into the Progressive & Tek Trance genre's, rather than adhering to less commercialised genre's such as Hardstyle. Lastly, for the U.S and European markets, prepare yourselves in 2009. I might just be at your doorstep. Rock on!
Music Genre Progressive & Tek Trance. For the Australian markets though, I tend to also play harder (Hard Trance / Hardstyle) at events such as Amnesia.
Productions My feelings, emotions, and anticipations reflected through sound. I love every moment of producing music. The Astroboy sound will be taking a major turn by early 2009. Trance will never be the same again.
