About Me

It's the middle of the night, I've had a lot of caffeine, I'm sitting on a pilates ball and suddenly I want to rejoin Myspace. I'm random like that. I think that the most honest thing I could say about myself is that I'm random. I'm a running, jumping, climbing trees sort of girl. I've been rendered a hopeless dreamer and romantic by the fact that I have an artist's mentality with absolutely no artistic talent. It makes me do silly things like walking backward on a beach to avoid turning my back on the sunset...always looking to somehow capture the beautiful moments that make up this beautiful life and routinely falling short. But falling isn't all that bad really. Falling in love is great. Falling from cliffs into the water below is awesome. I'd love to fall from a plane, preferably with a parachute and a trained professional strapped to my back. Falling off my rocker (which I think is synonomous with losing one's marbles) is also quite enjoyable - brief forays into the realm of crazy are to life what wasabi is to soy sauce.
UPDATE : It is still the middle of the night, though I have not had a lot of caffeine and I am no longer perched on my pilates ball. In fact, it is deflated, in my hallway, next to my bike. Instead, I am on the 14th floor of a hotel, on a king sized bed, watching the snow fall on Providence, listening to the plows scrape along the streets, and reflecting on how I got from there (the pilates ball) to here. Though the more I think about it, the less important the "how" becomes. What is more important seems to be where I want to go to next, how I am going to get there, and how I regain the parts of me that I lost from the pilates ball to the king sized bed. I am still the random, running, jumping, climbing trees sort of girl...I'm just out of practice. Anyone care to help me get back to it?!!? It'll be a fun adventure :)
