I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a Radio Announcer for Radio Works in Thames, New Zealand. I have a few nick names including Ali Dunc (from my parents) and Quarter Pounder (from an unfortunate incident with some bathroom scales). I'm incredibly proud of my family and friends. I'm loud and rarely shy. I spend 95% of my money on my 62 Valiant. The remaining 5% goes on rent and Goodey Goodey Gum Drops and Cookies and Cream ice creams with choc dip. Yum! I'm constantly evolving.

My Interests

I'm not highly passionate about specific interests, I like a bit of everything. I'm an average guitar player and love having a jam and a sing-a-long with friends. I enjoy sport although, again Im average at it. I'm incredibly competitive so I'll take on a challenge without having to be talked into it. I'll give painting a go. I love baking, especially cup cakes. Im all about finding new stuff to do. I'll try anything once.

I'd like to meet:

Talk and jam with Elvis Presley. Drink and laugh with Ricky Gervais. Have a deep-and-meaningful with Edward de Bono.

Music:

My C.D collection is a spectrum of music, don't make me single favourites out. Im a huge supporter of New Zealand music though.

Movies:

Shawshank Redemption (theres a reason its a very popular 'favourite movie') Napoleon Dynamite (it takes some kind of special to make a movie about nothing and create an entire culture that follows) American Beauty (Kevin Spacey is outstanding) Dirty Dancing (I was in love with Patrick growing up because of that film)

Television:

I don't watch a heap of t.v. I love to watch a good All Blacks game. Im a fan of Family Guy and The Office if it comes to comedy. Favourite drama would have to be Greys Anatomy. I love the characters daily build up to an emotional revelation. It would be tiring to live like that. But entertaining none the less.

Books:

The Godzone Dictionary - Max Cryer Miracle in the Andes - Nando Parado My Napoleon Dynamite Flippin' Sweet Dance book from Cherie :) My Family Photo Album

Heroes:

Anyone who contributed or contributes to human kind and created or is creating a legacy. Paul.
