I was thinking this morning . . . "odd" stories often follow me, and many times, no, most of the time, they are stories of folks who have passed on. It's not just that folks might interest me, so I start looking into their past. No, many of these stories find me -- via old photos in antique shops, or documents, or street signs with odd names. Me? I can't resist when I come across these innocuous nudges. That's when I start digging and it never fails . . . oh, are there stories to tell!!

Taylor's son, Terry, said in the Foreword:
"On one hand, he would be embarrassed that a book of this caliber be devoted to telling his life story. On the other hand, he would be grateful that so much of the nonsense about a no-nonsense man has finally been revealed and honestly addressed by author, Linda Alexander. . . . My sincere thanks to Linda Alexander who dug deep and spread wide her copious research and leaps of literary faith, that reveal stunningly an untold story."
My "official" bio: Multi-cultural author Linda Alexander has lupus. Her other 4 books—one about an adult film star ("Dorothy From Kansas Meets the Wizard of X"), another about Messianic Jews ("The Unpromised Land"), and novels of dark romantic suspense ("Until Next Time" & "Weekends in New England").
A 1991 letter on psychological child abuse put Linda on the Oprah Show. For over 20 years, she’s freelanced for magazines such as Soap Opera Update, and newspapers including The Washington Times and Baton Rouge Advocate. Interviews include actors Jim Varney, Robert Stack, Michael Zaslow, and her teenage heartthrob, Michael Cole, from 1970s “The Mod Squad;†also, singers Gary Puckett, Tiny Tim, and others. Tiny Tim commented: "Thank you, Miss Linda. You are such a good listener." An editor from a prominent publisher said, “I felt . . . I was sitting in on a Barbara Walters interview.â€
Linda’s newest book, Reluctant Witness: Robert Taylor, Hollywood, & Communism, is a biography on Hollywood’s Golden Era movie star, Robert Taylor. Taylor starred in "Camille" with Greta Garbo, "Waterloo Bridge" with Vivien Leigh, and "Quo Vadis" with Deborah Kerr. His involvement in the 1940s hysteria over communism in Hollywood forever wrongly branded him the ultra-conservative movie star to “name names.†Linda intends to right that wrong.
Linda speaks publicly on: Living Large With Lupus; Journaling To Heal Wounds; Bridging The Color Line; You Are Who You Say You Are: Online Imaging; and, of course, writing!
