And Then I Said...

True friends stab you in the front!

About Me

I am a pretty laid back person; however, if you are honestly not interested in a FRIENDSHIP then I am HONESTLY NOT interested in you! I love to be challenged and spend time with people who have the capability to think outside the box. "Every lesson is a widening and deepening of consciousness. It is a stretching of the mind beyond its conceptual limits and a stretching of the heart beyond its emotional boundaries. It is a bringing of unconscious material into consciousness, a healing of past wounds, and a discovery of new faith and trust."“We habitually erect a barrier called blame that keeps us from communicating genuinely with others, and we fortify it with our concepts of who's right and who's wrong. We do that with the people who are closest to us and we do it with political systems, with all kinds of things that we don't like about our associates or our society. It is a very common, ancient, well-perfected device for trying to feel better. Blame others. Blaming is a way to protect your heart, trying to protect what is soft and open and tender in yourself. Rather than own that pain, we scramble to find some comfortable ground. Compassionate action starts with seeing yourself when you start to make yourself right and when you start to make yourself wrong. At that point you could just contemplate the fact that there is a larger alternative to either of those, a more tender, shaky kind of place where you could live.”

My Interests

My children, friends, reading, painting, cooking, writing and trying to grow in wisdom as well as spirtually. I like learning new things and am always up for a challenge of perspective and interest. I have worked EMS for many years up until moving to the Springs last year. Now I am not entirely sure what I want to do when I grow up. Something medical I am sure. I have two children, a boy- 4, and a girl- 8. They keep me pretty busy. If not busy then insane would be more accurate!
COOL MySpace Comments

I'd like to meet:

People who are true and have something of quality to say. Let 's face it people, WE make this world go round by being different. I don't need a hundred friends who all have the same thing to say or want to be just like Dick and Jane. OH and pleeez have a sense of humor...life is NOT that serious!

Oh wow! I could go on here forever. To name a few: U2, AFI, Little Big Town, Norah Jones, 3 Doors Down, Journey, Seether, Hot Water Music, Bush, De La Soul, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Face To Face, Brooks and Dunn, Shelter, CCR, Stretch Armstrong, Snapcase, Slipknot, Rascal Flatts, Operation Ivy, Daft Punk, Kittie, Screeching Weasel, Nappy Roots, Mazzy Star... I could be here all day. I am a Southern girl so I love country but I have lived in the city for a long time so I love anything with a good beat. I grew up on rock and punk so try me I am pretty diverse.
