I have been Involved in the Steel Drum artform for 24 years, as a performer and as a tuner and craftsman of the instrument. I studied with Dr. Ellie Mannette (the father of the modern steel drum) in West Virginia for nearly 7 years learning the art of tuning. Learning from and working alongside a rare genius Like Ellie is beyond words.I spend my much of my time time crafting steelpans at my workshop in Austin TX.
