Yes, I really used to be a clay sheep. Yes, I do say I like to kick puppies but it's just a lie to make me look tough. But then again, that's what the mustache and occasional Joker make-up are for.
I wouldn't mind having my own recording studio for local bands. Perhaps I'll open up a coffee-house-venue-recording studio-store someplace at some point in time. That would be quite fantastic.
I love listening to ska music and anything mixed with punk (folk, celtic, gypsy, rockabilly, surf.) I'm particularly in love with any music that tells stories. My latest discovery has been really dark Americana tunes.
I'd like to say that I'm not a music elitist, but as I hear more and more music on the radio and television, I realize how little enjoyment can be squeezed from such commercial garbage in comparison to my limited selection of musical tastes. Once you sip wine, why would you go back to grape juice?
I think society is doomed, plain and simple. Nothing can reverse the horrid effects of capitalism, corporate greed and the completely backward education system. I fully acknowledge the problems of society but like most everyone else, I do nothing about it. One person can't change the world, or at least that's what I've been told. In a state of complete hopelessness, we can trick ourselves to grasp on to one last leg of hope. That's how we survive. That's how we'll continue to survive.
Afterthoughts-Darius Koski
"NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS FREE
BUT THE PRICE I PAY IS EARNED EASILY
EACH ACTION’S COST KEEPS RISING
WITH THE INFLATED PRICE OF APATHY
NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS FREE
BUT EVERY GODDAMN THING IS CHEAP
EACH AND EVERY SACRED ENTITY
BUT I’M STILL UNFAZED
AND IT BARELY MOVES ME"
