Since the closure of The X, we have decided to put GLP on indefinite hold. Maybe if we find another venu with character & hire price to match The X we'll start up again, but maybe not. In the meantime there's plenty of high quality music in Oxford fro the people who brought you Gammy Leg:

Gammy Leg Productions is a monthly gig run by Richard from Gappy Tooth Industries (www.gappytooth.com) with help from the wife. Since Nov06 we've been booking gigs at The Exeter Hall in Oxford (www.thex.co.uk). It's sort of like Gappy Tooth, just smaller and more relaxed (and probably slightly more financially stable!).
How does the money work? Well, the overheads at The X are minimal, so we'll just take all the door money and divide it equally between the acts and the promoters: that way (hopefully) performers all get petrol/beer money and we get a little to line the coffers for future projects.
We're eager to hear from anyone who wishes to play or has any other queries - any genre considered.

We're now online all the time! It's been a wait. So, if you'd like us to listen to your tracks for consideration at a future gig, simply drop us a line. If you ask to be a friend I shall accept you as long as you are linked with music (or you're really my friend, naturally), as it makes the site a useful resource, but if you want to be considered for gigs, then send a message & we'll listen to the tracks.
However, we like hard copies the best, you get a much fairer listen when we're doing the washing up, instead of sat here playing minesweeper, so it's still best if you're able to send to:

Obviously if you've already sent a demo to Gappy Tooth there's no need to send another, you'll be automatically considered.
