About Me

This is a solo project with a couple of friends helping out! John Bride ( Guitar solo on: King of fools) Billy McCauly( Keys and Rhodes on Streets of shame) Greg Thomas (Hammond XB11 on Christmas song)Steven Henry Guitars, Bass,Cello,Drums,Vocals,Lap steele, percussion, hammond organ and synths. I have been playing music for a very long while now and write, record, and produce original music. Mostly work in various projects live, and own and operate a recording studio. Just doing finishing touches on the final mixes of my debut CD! Hopefully will be done and out for purchase in early May 2007. I seem to always be on the go around here and It has been quite a journey to finally get this one in the can. The songs are all written with a few left over for the next disc which will not!! I promise take as long as this one has..I have toured fairly extensively throughout Ontario and the western provinces over the years and even lived in Calgary for ten yrs. Moved back to Ontario in 1989 and have been working on the writting and other normal life things that get too involved for keeping a music hat on. I just wanna play music and write so maybe when I grow up I can have a band and tour the world and sleep yes, and sleep.......zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Steven. K. Henry: Drums, Bass ,Guitar, Purcussion, Hammond Organ, Lap steele, Cello and Vocals.
Influences: I listened alot to R&B when I was very young as I had a lot of older brothers and sisters.I went through a huge Led Zepplin Deep Purple phase for a long while after that and everything eles, Hendrix, Joplin who is still my favorite vocalist!! Stones, Beatles, Ray Chrles, Tom Waits and everything in between.
Sounds Like: Most of my music tho Original seems to lend a tendancy to other artist's who influence me as we all do. I think I have managed to bring together for whatever reason at this particular point in time a familiar sound from those who I am exposed to. I am probably a musician who has the least amount of CD's ever I really don't listen to much music these days as I find it interferes with originality, which is very hard and near impossible to come by these days. I have a voice similar to a Rod Stewart, Black Crowes, Stereophonic kinda sound. Stop by and have a listen and you decide! all comments are welcomeThanks s.k.henry
