i love all types of music, and Horror Movies. what I try to do is combined the two for the ultimate combo. whether its sampling from a movie soundtrack or a clip from the movie I like to put them into the music I make. The drums and any other added sounds are usually dark and twisted also because that to me is just how it is ha ha ha...what I mean is, Life can be and or get pretty crazy sometimes for anyone and to be creative in a way to release some of that crazyness and enjoy the end result I think is a good way to sit on your little jagged edged lining of life.
