About Me

Edenheight write original breaks in styles from heavy funk and jazz to hip hop, afrobeat to roots/dub reggae;............................................... The tunes incorporate a high energy musical precident and studio production technique with live and improvised open structure excursions. The product is a band who work well with a full dance floor or a crowd of chin scratchers, and as such edenheight have risen quickly in the vibrant live music underground of Bristol and Bath Since launching the live project in the UK, May 2005.................................................. The band have gigged extensively, noteably including big club nights in Bristol and Bath for NYE 2005 and 2006, a Headlining appearance at Walcott Nation Day (Bath Fringe festival Climax 2006), Ashton Court 2006 and 2007, Shambala festival 2007, and Glastonbury 2008. The live formation typically features both guest vocalists and various invitees, alongside the core section comprising drums, percussion, bass, guitar, keys, 2 piece horn section and samples/dj. Listen out for new material recorded in bristol later this year.
