Flowtrip is an acoustic trio playing original music with a blend of roots, blues, bluegrass, rhythm and funk. The trio consists of Luke Sullivan (vocals and acoustic guitar), Johnny Cheng (acoustic lead guitar), Geoff Rolandsen (djembe/drum kit) - who have developed a purely original acoustic sound with influences from bands such as the John Butler Trio, Xavier Rudd and Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Nuno Bettencourt, Zakk Wylde. Jamming virtually everyday, the trio have been able to incorporate improvised guitar solos and arrangements as part of every live show.
Flowtrip has played at various venues throughout Brisbane including the Queen Street Mall, Brisbane Riverstage the Amphitheatre at Roma Street Parklands, Casablanca, Nobby's Beach Surf Club, Clarence Corner Hotel, Alley Bar, The Living Room, Verve Cafe, The UQ Red Room, Ellaways Music, Red Brick Hotel, The Step Inn, Beenleigh Tavern, Caxton Seafood Festival etc.
