Teague

About Me

Teague’s piano-driven music is melodic and lyrical, blending old swing and jazz into his own style. His original songs include upbeat swinging jams, catchy lounge tunes, and soulful ballads. His talent and showmanship combine with superb musicians for a hopping, heart-felt, and high quality show.
Teague’s music is as distinctive as it is diverse. It has been described as a mix between Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick, Jr., Michael Bublé, Jamie Cullum, and Norah Jones.
Teague focuses on performing his original songs and old standards in cafés, clubs, and festivals, gaining support for his much-anticipated LP album release “Songs For You” with Lyric Vinyl Records. His EP “City Of Destiny” was well received and continues to sell easily at live performances and on iTunes.
Teague’s dedication to building his fan base and bringing fans to his live performances is evident by his street team commitment, electronic newsletter, and internet promotion including his own website and MySpace profile.
Teague has written more than 200 songs and has published as a registered BMI songwriter with Lyric Vinyl Publishing. Teague's talent, versatility, engaging personality, and professionalism set the stage for him to become an international success.
Teague was born in Atlanta and grew up in the South, spending his summers on his grandparents' farm in South Georgia. He began playing the piano and writing songs at the age of 12 with musical influences including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Willie Nelson, Paul Simon, Phil Collins, Elton John, and the Eagles. He credits Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick, Jr. as his greatest vocal influences.
